Arrival Story:
The SPCA in Ft Worth brought Charlie to the library I work at as part of our summer children's activties. I had been considering adopting a dog for a while, and when I saw Charlie, I knew he was the guy for me. It seemed like such sweet serendipity to as this happened on my birthday. I went the following morning to pick him up.
Bio:
Charlie is on his third home, so he is quite insecure about being left alone. He has some serious separation anxiety that we are trying hard to overcome. But he should be the poster dog for why people should not adopt dogs unless they are absolutely ready for the responsibility. Charlie is a sweet, good-natured dog, but because people have twice given him to shelters, he is not confident on his own.
