Arrival Story:
Basie was in a litter of puppies from a stray that abandoned them at a week old. The humane society was going to put them down, due to the amount of work involved. The local community college's RVT program found students to take a puppy to nurse over the winter break. By the time they were adoptable, her guardian started classes that spring and she found a new home!
Bio:
A visitor from another planet, Basie's mission is to observe dogdom in an Earth family. Periodically, she lays on her back with feet up in the air, and "downloads" instructions and updates from her home planet. This takes anywhere from 2 to 15 minutes. This planet, name unknown, was not quite sure about the form in which to send their observer. In their haste, they did not pick one breed but several, and unfortunately, some were not even of the canine species. As far as we can tell, Basie is part, shepherd, boxer, llama, hamster, and hyena. (and some squirrel.)
