Arrival Story:
Shelby was at the shelter, and a rescue group that I was working with took her in, and I became her foster. Shortly after being spayed, she was an a meet and greet for possible adoption. While there, she was mounted by a male dog that had just been neutered, but didn't know it. As a result, Shelby went into shock and almost died. Needless to say, after going through that with her, she ended up with a permanent home with me.
Bio:
9/22/09 - Shelby passed to the Rainbow Bridge today. She contracted IMHA - a terrible disease, and despite aggressive treatment, we were not able to save her. I miss my sweet angel girl.
