Arrival Story:
My puppy rescuer said she would keep her eyes and ears open for the type of breed Mom was looking for (Lab or Aussie shep). A few days later she emailed a photo to Mom of mycrazy mixed litter she had just rescued from Nevada City. Mom came to meet us at a Pet Food Express adoption event and watched me and my 6 brothers and sisters play. I played it cool. I even fell asleep while the others pranced around. Mom picked me up so I licked her face and fell back asleep in her arms. I heard Mom say that night that the calm, sedate little black-nosed puppy with the blue eyes and white toes would be her guy and they picked me up a week later. We drove home while I screamed at the top of my lungs and jumped all over the car.
