Haven't updated Cooper's status in a while, just no big changes to talk about.
He still can't walk, and he still can't pee on his own. Although, sometimes, he can start to go, just can't stop. I like to believe that is a step in the right direction. I know reoover, if it comes, is a long process.
We still swim in the tub, and I still do his bicycle exercises. I feel resistance from his legs when we do those. But when we swim, I really don't see much change.
He has adjusted much better than myself or James. But I suppose that is just the way it is suppose to be.
We go for walks on the river, and Cooper just loves it, he always did.
Today is his 3rd birthday, and he is having a ball with all his birthday gifts. Especially those from Auntie Stacey, Braxton & Mario ( his favorite is the piece of cake, you'd think it was real!)
We will keep on working, and praying, so if you still check up on Cooper from time to time, remember him in your pup prayers!!
Well, you can see from the new photo on Cooper's page that he is getting along great with his wheels!
We took both he & Bailey for a walk along the river today, and took some photos & videos. I will post a video later.
He was so happy to be "on the trail" again that he allowed me to express him without putting his cone collar on! But he still won't poop while hitched to his wheels. I wish he would learn, they said he would at the clinic, but so far, no. Sure would make things easier!!!
I have 2 swim sessions on the calendar for him this week, too. Have to keep that therapy going!
Cooper has an upset tummy today, and he doesn't want to eat. Now, he feels good, because he wants to play! But we are having some "potty problems" today, hope it goes away soon!
He will have a swim session today, and that just poops him out!! All he wants to do afterwards is sleep, BOL!!!
I am feeling much more resistance when doing his bicycle exercises now, and I can feel him pushing against me. Another huge step in his recovery!
