Arrival Story:
This dog was a gift for me when I was only 10. We've been through a lot through the years.

Bio:
Biggest Scare. While I was away at college I got a phone call from my mother that lady was rushed to the emergency hospital. I almost passed out. She developed a disease that is known in cocker spaniels where there immune system begins to eat away at her blood cells. She was walking around at home when she began to slow down and just fell over. She was only 10. Being far away I was devestated and knew there was nothing I could do. Thankfully, an option came along. Lady was given a total blood transfusion, but we were told there was only a 50% chance of survival. Through the next couple of days it was like waiting for Lady to come back to life. Through a miracle, she made it through everything perfectly and has lived three years longer. Although she is older, and showing signs of aging, she's still my baby girl and shows the puppy inside her every time I'm home :)
