She doesn't play with toys. Heidi was a rescue and doesn't know how to play. I give her toys but she ignores them..but give her a Greenie and she's a happy little girl.

Favorite Food:
She will eat anything except for dog food. Loves scrambled eggs, tuna, chicken, red meat and cheese.

Favorite Walk:
She loves to run on the grass in our yard

Best Tricks:
Waking you up in the middle of the night to take her out (she has a tiny bladder)

Arrival Story:
Heidi was found roaming the streets of New Jersey and when I read her story on Petfinder it broke my heart and I knew I had to adopt her to give her all the love and kindness that she deserved. The first thing she did when she met me was to bite me.

Bio:
When I adopted Heidi was was only 7 lbs., was missing hair, and had a bad eye. Now she's fat and sassy and a beautiful 10 pounds. She has come a long way.

I have a BIG bone to pick with my Mom and Dad! Why is it that they call my sister cutsie names like "Dumpling" and "Precious" and they call me "Missy Pissy?" What gives with that!!

So what if I can't hold it in as well as the "Dumpling" -- is that any reason to make fun of me? Don't they know that I'm getting old and have, uhh, problems in that area? On their behalf, they did get me diapers but I refuse to wear them. They put it on and I slip out of them as fast as I can. I don't want anyone to see me in those droopy drawers.

What's a girl to do?

I almost caught another gecko today but that silly oompah loompah Daisy got in the way of me and my dessert. Geez, she has the biggest butt ever. But Mom came through bigtime with a nice cup of Frosty Paws for me and the big butt. I'm happy!!!

My brother Butchie died in July and I've been missing him so much that I stay in his bed all day long and dream about him. He was a good brother and I know that he loved me but I wasn't always that nice to him and now I'm feeling guilty about all the nips and snarls I gave him over the years.

Our house has been such a sad place for such a long time but things are changing because I have a new sister and she looks and acts a lot like Butchie. In fact, when I first saw her I thought she was Butchie and I ran up and kissed her right in her big mug. Her name is Daisy but she sure doesn't smell like one but she's a lot of fun and she likes me and plays with me (when I let her).

Sometimes Daisy tries to get in Butchie's bed with me and that's a NO NO. That bed is mine now and I'm not letting her in it. It still smells like Butchie and if she gets in it will smell like her and I'm not going to let that happen. It's my only way of still feeling close to the brother that I loved so much. You all understand that ... right?

How long does it take for a heart to mend?
