Likes:
To play fetch, cuddle, and bounce up and down for the cat. She's amazingly cuddly. After she plays, she loves to cuddle with any person or animal she can find. When that doesn't work, she finds a stuffed animal to cuddle with.

Pet-Peeves:
Not being the center of attention, big stairs.

Favorite Toy:
When we first got her, it was rocks and sticks. Now she likes all forms of dog toys, especially tiny tennis balls which she retrieves easily.

Favorite Food:
She's a pug. So, everything!

Favorite Walk:
Wherever there are people that will go "Ah, she's so cute!" She really loves to go anywhere there are new people and things to see. She's very curious.

Best Tricks:
She's conquered potty training and is now moving on to more advanced tricks. She can sit, stay, and spin. She retrieves naturally. Aren't all pugs retrievers deep down?

Arrival Story:
We were looking for another pug and it turns out that Lu Lu was ready for a home at 3-1/2 months. She was the runt of the litter and they were waiting for her to grow. We brought her home and have loved her ever since!

Lu Lu on the mend

When we got Lu Lu she was the runt of the litter. Couldn't even get her until she was 3-1/2 months old. She was only 5 pounds. Not long after bringing her home she got giardia and soon thereafter gastritis. She had lots of trouble keeping food down and it took quite awhile to get her feeling better soon. After a few weeks of restricted food and medication she was able to start eating normally, but she hadn't gained any much needed weight. She is now a little over 5 months and at 6.4 pounds. She's as frisky, cuddly, and fun as can be and is starting to fill out a bit. She'll be starting puppy classes soon so she can build on her ability to sit and stay (for food only).
