Good-Bye

Gracie had an on-going nerological problem. We thought we were going to lose her in January 2008, but she fought back. Though she could not walk very well or very far, she looked forward to her walks to the park. In March 2009, she got worse and much as we hoped for a miracle, it became clear that it was time to let her go. She could not stand or walk any more and was suffering as a result. Many tears have been shed and many more will follow because she was so dear to us, but we have many loving memories of her brief time with us. It was a priviledge having her in our lives.
