Conehead

I spent all last week wearing this big giant cone attached to my collar. It made me feel so stupid! All because I kept licking my foot until it turned all red. Well, it hurt! And then my people kept giving me yummy bits of cheese which made me all tired and sleepy. It was a weird week for The Peanut.

Thanksgiving weekend at the dog park

My people took me to the dog park three times this weekend. I know when the Boy One wears his Magic Hat that it's time to go to the park. Then the Girl One tells me to go get my collar and my leash and that gets me so excited I start jumping around like a large Peanut-frog.

On Friday there were some small creatures in my house. They didn't smell like people, but they didn't smell like dogs either. They had fun toys and kept dropping food on the floor. I got in trouble when I tried to lick one in the face. He fell down and started making a funny sound. One of them made a funny sound every time he saw me. The Girl One told me it was baby sign language for the word "dog". Whatever that means. I need to go take a nap now.

Why is there another dog in my house?

Yesterday another dog came over, and he's still here today. His name is Norm and he's big and fluffy. We used to wrestle and play but we're grown up now. I just gave him a lot of Evil Peanut Eye all day, especially when my people were giving him too much attention. He growled at me though, so I backed off. Wasn't trying to start anything! We all went to the park this morning. I guess that was ok.
