This weekend I got to go rummaging with my mommy and daddy. They like to go look for treasures, but I like to go because I get to ride in the car with my ears flapping in the wind, and I get to meet lots of new people. These people think I'm so cute and I love the attention.

Our Rummage Sale

For the past 4 days mommy and daddy have been extremely busy with having a rummage sale. And I've been stuck in the house bored out of my mind. A few time I would sneak out of the house and out in to the cold garage and sunggle up with my mommy who was alway sitting in front of this really warm heater. You see, I live in South dakota the weather is always cold. Even when it's hot outside, I'm cold. Anyway- so today was the last day of our rummage and now we are done. I sold my little doggie house that I never used. And my blue, bone shaped, water dish. I'm going to use my earnings to go out and buy my mommy a mother's day present. That's all for now, except that I have to go to the Vet on Monday at 9:40am. I am NOT looking forward to that. But my mommy assures me that I will be recieving a treat if I am a good girl!!!! THE VET :(

So in my last entry I mentioned having to go to the VET :(
Well as it turns out I did have to go. You see, my mommy has this really sneaky way of getting me to go. It is my instinct to want to go with my mommy when she is about to go bye, bye. This routine time of mommy cleary getting ready to leave was just like all the others. She grabbed her purse and her keys and headed for the door. I was already by the door before she even called for me. I should have known something was up, because she allowed me to come with her with out me even having to use my puppy-dog sad eyes.
Imagine my surprise when we arrived at the Vet's office, I prayed that it was just a dream. We waited in exam room for what seemed like days. Then the Doc came in. Oh I was nervous. Then he pulled out the needles. I knew what was coming,... SHOTS!!!!!
Two of them, and it was over. I vowed I'd never forgive my mommy for making me go though that. But all was forgiven when the Doc placed me in her arms and I knew I was safe again... until later that night after a walk with my mommy. I started having allergic reactions to the shots that I'd had. I got all swollen and itchy. After a Benadryl I was all better and my horrible day could finally be over.

Hot Spring Days!

Oh Boy was it hot today. It was like 79 or 80 out. Mom took me for a car ride and I couldn't get enough of the cool air. And when we would stop at a stop light, my tounge was hanging to the floor. My dad calls that my air conditioner. I just call it having my tounge hanging to the floor. I don't know how I'm going to make it through the summer. Lots of water and fans I guess. That's all for now, I'm tired and need to get to bed. It is way past my bed time.

DIRT!!!!!

Today my mom and dad got 6 tons of dirt to do some work on the yard. I had the BEST time playing in that dirt, let me tell you!!!! I was digging and digging. When mom and dad weren't looking I would eat some dirt chunks. Yummy...

Then I got to go over to my friend Cody's house and visit him. I think he gets tired of my constant running around in his house. But we have a good time sniffing each other. I can't wait to go over there again. He is awesome!!

BIRTHDAY

WOOF, WOOF.
It was my birthday on July 6th. I'm just now getting over the excitement. My daddy came home from work on Wednesday evening with gifts!!!

I got more toys and tons of treats. I love treats. I can only have two or three a day so it's the gift that keeps on giving. My mommy gave me lots of attention.

On thursday mommy took me to Petco so I could pick out a new bed. I chewed my other bed to pieces so I needed a new one. It was fun getting to pick out my own bed. I got a big fuffy one. I spent the rest of the day in my new bed.

Now my birthday is over and I only have 362 days until I get to do it all over again!!!!

I'M A BIG SISTER!!!!!

MY MOMMY AND DADDY ARE GETTING ME A LITTLE BROTHER TOMORROW NIGHT. HE IS EIGHT WEEKS OLD AND I THINK WE ARE GOING TO NAME HIM GUS. MOMMY SAYS WE NEED TO SPEND SOME TIME WITH HIM FOR A WHILE BEFORE WE NAME HIM FOR GOOD. I WILL POST SOME PICTURES TOMORROW.

I WON!!!!!

Hey everybody,

I went racin tonight and won 1st plasce!!!!! We went to luverne MN, to Weiner Dog Days and out of 58 other dogs I was the fastest. My new little brother was there cheering me on. Ok so he slept though most of it, but who cares I WON!!!!!!

I dedicated my last race to my big sister whom was smiling down on me from doggie heaven. I miss you Koku.

Keep runnin your legs off and you too can be a winning weiner!

Oh Brother :(

Hey four legged friends-

For some of you who already have siblings, you'll feel for me...
But for those who are lucky enough to be only doggies listen up.

ENJOY YOUR FREEDOM.
TAKE NOTHING FOR GRANTED.
GIVE YOUR MOMMIES AND DADDIES EXTRA LOVE AND ATTENTION.
AND MOST IMPORTANT SAVOR HAVING YOUR OWN STUFF.

Now that I'm a "Big sister", everything has changed. I have no freedom. The love and attention that I once had 100% of, is now 50%. My toys aren't just mine anymore, I have to share my bones, my food, my mommy, my car rides and not to mention... MY BED.

I can't think of one thing I like about being a big sister.
Except maybe.......... having someone that looks up to me and seeing how happy my mommy and daddy are to be able to share their love with a new member of our family. (Oh and I get to kick his little butt!!!!)

Oh dog Pooh

Hey everyone-

My little brother has now learned how to climb stairs. Now he is going to follow me everywhere.

On a happier note... When we were out for a walk this evening, we met a Doxie named Amy. She lives 5 house down from us. We never knew she lived there. She looks a lot like me. She is nice and I look forward to visiting her again.

Oh and Gus broke my favorite toy tonight. It no long squeaks like it should. BROTHERS... can't live with them, can't ditch them.
