Arrival Story:
I knew the guardians of her mother, Blue, and assisted in the delivery. The moment Po was born and I saw her wonderful geisha hairdo and white eyelashes, she was mine.

Bio:
The smartest dog I've ever had the privilege to know and I've known plenty - all good but not all of them bright. Po was born on Guam where mutts/mongrels are known as boonie dogs. The original dog stock for Guam is descended in part from the war dogs who remained behind after faithful service in the US Military during WWII. The Southern Marianas Sporting Hound (as we like to call them) is a hardy, resilient and intelligent dog. Po's mother was a pit bull/lab/boonie mix and her father an English Springer Spaniel. Po was also born without a tail which is not uncommon on Guam.
