Arrival Story:
Monty joined our family just two weeks after the death of my Dad. It had been a rough year, losing both my Dad AND my Grandma, three months apart. For as long as I could remember, I had wanted a Golden Retriever, and so, my Mom and I agreed to bring Monty into our family. He helped enormously with the grief and is a constant, in not crazy, companion.
Bio:
He's a silly dog, frightened by the sound of his own bark. He's normally quiet, except to make an odd chuffling noise from time to time. When he barks, he looks confused and tries to find the othe big dog. We recently adopted another dog who is a year and a half younger, and Monty couldn't be happier!

I'm an energetic boy and sometimes the humans around me (besides my Mom of course) don't understand that. They say I'm too hyper and I jump too much, but I love humans! But even more, I love having doggie friends. I know a great dog park we can go to and I'll even share my treats!
