Arrival Story:
I was babysitting over the summer and the people had just taken Pebbles from their friend who lived in Halifax. She was very skinny and the little boy was picking on her constantly. When the parents got home I expressed how much I wanted a dog because my dog had passed away the year before and they said I could have her because they didn't like her anyway. Can you imagine!! That was in 1995 and she is still my BABY!

Pebbles passed away on August 22, 2005. She was a wonderful girl who loved and was loved by many. She will be greatly missed by her "Sis"Andrea, Mark and Molly, and everyone whose life was touched by her beautiful presence. You will never be far from our thoughts P-Bow!!

Unfortunately Pebbles did not make it to write her second entry. Her health went down hill very rapidly. She is in Heaven now with her Grandad Hachey and her Nanny Forshner so I am sure she is happy even though we are all so sad.

The not so good news.

My Sis Andrea, she's not my mama because we grew up together, and her husband, my adopted brother, Mark went on vacation for one week and Molly and I stayed home with our Uncle Timmy and Uncky Clint. While they were away I was finding it harder and harder to see things during the day. I have been having a hard time seeing at night for a while but I make out fine. Andrea didn't realize how bad it was until she got home from vacation and I was a lot more unsure of where I was going and I run in to things more than usual. Andrea was a little upset because every year she takes me to the Vet and they always say "Her eyes are fine." But they are not I am completely blind now. Molly helps me out as much as she can but she is a bit of a goof ball and sometimes forgets I can't see any more, and wants to play rough. I just bark at her and she remembers. So, it's not really good news but it could be a lot worse. I am still healthy and I can get around fine now that I know Andrea and Mark are not going to move any of the furniture around. I am still a very happy girl! :)
