new kitty for ME

Mom and Dad didn't wait real long to get a "new" kitty...this time it is a little one. All I know is that her name is Isabel and she he a real spitfire...She gets all poofy when I get near her and hisses and starts swinging....I just get out of the way....I think she'll figure out who is the boss in time...(It's ME you know!!) Winter is his usual "bullheaded" self and dosen't think...and gets slammed by her..oh well he'll learn...of maybe not..he never seemed to figure that out with Max...He's hopeless. Woof

I can't find my kitty

Mom and Dad went out at lunch time and took Max with them, They looked sad....when they came back they put Winter and Me on our runs and buried a box behind the garden....they were sad...I barked at them...Max isn't here anymore....now I'm sad, they bought Winter and Me a big puppy cookie to make us feel better....I didn't eat mine....Max was fun to play with ( sometimes) I miss him...woof

I'm in moving pictures now

Dad was recording us being silly. now we're on the internet....not sure what that means, but if I am involved it must be good...Winter and I have been helping Mom and Dad keep the carpeting from getting matted down with a daily Shiba 1000 (that's s shiba 500 with 2 of us) Winter usually starts it...I just get into after he annoys me enough to make me get up...My latest thing to do is be a couch potato..or is it potatoe...anyway I am one...I still get plenty of excersize mind you bit I really like to lay on the couch and take up as much space as I can. I'm getting fluffy again...guess it's gonna get cold out soon.

Vacations are tough on ME

Mom and Dad went on a Vacation without ME!!! They left Winter and Me here to guard the house and watch over Jen & Mike (their other kids) It was a long 2 weeks and when they came back I was sooooo happy that I shook all over... Dad had lot's of hugs for us but didn't bring us back anything...( I was hoping for a big juicy steak or something.) I am glad that they are back though...Jen & Mike were gone most of the day and only played with us when they got home from work.....not good enough...Mom has the summer off as she works in a school...We usually get her attention on and off all day long...maybe that's why they needed a vacation. Oh well I am a Shiba...attention is the name of the game. Woof

Great another one !

Dad is going to drive me crazy. He got another big machine that throws stuff around my yard! this one is bigger than the last one and I hide from it when its out in the yard. I love summer though I get to go outside for as long as I want and Mom and Dad play frisbee with me. Dad got me a new toy..a baseball! I love baseball! I get to chase it and have actually caught it in the air (I am pretty good if I do say so myself!) Dad had one for Winter too...he chases it then wants to eat it...Dad stopped throwing it to him...Winter gets my old soccer ball...He seems to like that...he has really learned to play, thanks to ME.

dad's scarry new thing.

I have to pay attention when Dad is in the yard....he got that big thing with the wheels that eats the grass and spits it out at me. He got a bigger one that the old one and it makes me nervous. I run away from it when it comes near me and I put my ears back...I have to keep an eye on my toys I have outside too...It grinds them up and spits them at me too...If Dad dosen't see them first. I don't like it. Dad saved my toys this time....but I'll bet my frisbee is toast the next time. Woof

Time flies when your a Shiba

Sorry it has been soooo long but I have been pre occupied with supporting my Mom and comforting her . Mom and Dad have been worried about something but now it looks like things go back to normal. I heard something about cancer treatments and being tired and sore so I snuggled up to Mom when she came home to make her feel better, I guess it worked because she seems to be feeling better already... Shiba's have ancient oriental healing powers it you didn't know that already. Winter is his usual brainless self and runs around the yard getting dirty, he does have his winter coat though and he is very hansome....dumb but hansome...Hey nothing wrong with a trophy boyfriend eh? woof

For the love of......

My people have been torturing me. The pine tree in the yard has lots of cones on it this year. Well my run is right there attached to it...I hate anything touching my butt, so you can imaging what it has been like for me having to sit on one of those things...then they stick to me, UGH!! I do a butt slide all the way into the house. Winter thinks it's funny. He dosen't care what is stuck to him...he just runs a lot. Dad threw his back out so it might be a couple of weeks before he can clean up this nightmare...but I'll remind him every chance I get.

Sum Sum Summertime

It is time for me to fly....I get to play with Dad and the frisbee, Ya Hoo. I am a frisbee maniac!!! I can catch that thing soooo good. I have been known to do back flips trying to get it...Dad even lets me off my run to play...sometimes I have to teach the local squirrels a lesson before I get the frisbee though.
Dad bought a new one!!! I just get to chew it and then he scolds me and we end up using the old one again...oh well I don't care it is all fun for me! Winter isn't a "fetch" dog so Dad dosen't throw stuff with him....ha ha.

ah springtime again

As fun as Winter (the season) is I really like Spring.I get to play frisbee again and My people put my harness back on again which means we get to go for walks on our double lead.(Winter and ME THAT IS) We like to see if we can pull Dads arm off when he walks us..hasn't happened yet but we keep on trying. I also get to roll in the grass and go under the deck to investigate stuff...and get dirty...all is fun for a Shiba.
