squirrel season

ouch.. oooh... eeek

I started to hobble on my leg a couple of weeks ago. My mommy just thought it was old age, but one day I kept my leg up and couldn't put it down. Mommy rushed me to the doctor. Ofcourse I remembered that place and I wouldn't go in willingly. Finally after a little push from mom she got me inside. The doctor told her I had a torn ligament in the knee and that I would need surgery. Mommy and daddy were too broke to get this expensive surgery for me so my doctor told them to keep me on some pain meds until they can afford it. In the mean time my mommy made me my very own doggie bed to lay in on the floor since I can no longer jump up on the couch. It's very comfy.. matter of fact she made me another one for in our bedroom, especially since the bed is w-a-y higher than the couch. Oh yea and mommy and daddy have been carrying me up the steps to go to bed since it really hurts my leg. This is not easy since I weigh 52 lbs.
Tomorrow mommy is calling the doctor to set up the appointment to get my surgery. She and daddy had to take a loan out to do it, but they know my leg is bothering me and I'm not to anxious to play or want to go for a walk.
Keep your fingers crossed the surgery is successful!

Dear Diary,
It's fall in my neck of the woods and the squirrels are out EVERYWHERE!...Roof...I love to chase them dang squirrels..My mommy takes me bye bye's in the truck and I see them dang things run across the road or climbing across the telephone lines in the air..roof if only I could fly!
That's all for now diary it's almost time for mommy to drive my human brother to school and for me to look for more squirrels.
