Quick Bio:

Likes: Toby loves his family, playing, dog parks, car rides, eating anything he can get his mouth around, and getting into mischeif.
Pet-Peeves: When he misplaces someone in the house and has to go searching, and he hates when the blanket he is laying on has wrinkles in it, and he has to scratch and drag it to fix the problem. He is a perfectionist
Favorite Toy: Toby loves all his toys, and does not discriminate between his stuffed animals, squeeky toys, tennis balls, unmentionables he steals from laundry baskets and carries around like a prize, and anything else that he deems a toy.
Favorite Food: Loves Ice Cubes!
Favorite Walk: The dog park. He is a social butterfly, and absolutely loves playing and racing with the other dogs....and peeing on all the plants and trees. :)
Best Tricks: He can hear the fridge open or the ice maker from every floor and room in the house. Even when people don't hear it.
Arrival Story: Toby came to us from the Sacramento SPCA when he was five months old. His previous owner had cancer, and it came to the point where she could not care for him so she surrendered him to our shelter. I went in on one of my weekly volunteer days and fell in love with him as soon as I saw him. Toby was hyper, loud, couldn't sit still for a moment, already did a fabulous bichon buzz, and was the most adorable little thing I had ever seen. We had been looking for a bichon, but never thought we would find one in my shelter. The next day he met the rest of our family and we adopted him!
Bio: He is just a special dog that makes sure there is laughter in our home everyday. He is spoiled rotten with a toy box that contains more toys than he could ever possibly use, but his eyes light up at the sight of a new toy and that makes it worth it. We love him very much. You can see from his pictures that he has a mischievous twinkle in his eye....that twinkle is always there and well earned!

I've Been On Dogster Since:
So Mom was making a big deal that the new big guy has been here now four whole months, and I don't get what the fuss is all about! Cassie is still complaining that she had a contract when she was adopted that she wanted to be the only princess and dog in the house, and then I came along and blew it :) She says she keeps telling our Mom that this is not in her contract, that she doesn't do big dogs, but mom doesn't seem to hear her!
I like the big dude just fine, when he realizes I'm underfoot anyway, and doesn't step on me! I thought he was just gonna be another visitor foster, but it seems mom had other ideas, which is fine with me!! She can't yell at me if she doesn't know which of us created the mischief while she was gone! I just look innocent and so does the Large guy, Kodie....our system works perfectly!
I'm glad I have a new brother to hang out with, and he came from the same type of place Cassie and I did....a shelter. Except he was just found wandering, and Kodie told me he has no idea how he ended up so lost! Don't tell Cassie but I think she has a soft spot for him cause he didn't feel so good or look so good when he came here, just like her, though she'll never admit it! He had to spend a lot of time at the doc's to feel all better. But now Kodie does and he runs so fast, but I swear he has no brakes on those long legs!
Well I gots to go to bed now, I got plenty of mischief and fun to create tomorrow!...with my new brother of course. We call it bonding!
So, I messed up today. Cassie and I were outside going potty, and were being watched closely to make sure we went cause the big guys say someone is leaving presents upstairs. Don't tell but I think they suspect it might be me! :) But its not my fault, really! Ever since we came back to Elk Grove from San Luis Obispo, its been cold out and who wants to go potty with a draft! Not me!!!
Well so we were being watched but then Cassie and I heard a dog walking by the back of the fence and we ran to alert everyone that there was an intruder, but Cassie didn't watch her step on the back wall of the pool and she fell in!!! She went under and I got scared but she was scooped up soon enough. She got wet but good!! And then later I went out by myself and I smelled another dog and well, I kinda forgot what happened to Cassie and the same thing happened to me! I fell in the pool!! It was cold!! Buurrrrr!!! Mom doesn't know how we both do it in one day since the pool has been there for a year, but I just got so excited I forgot! How can ya blame a guy! I got dried with a hairdryer and wrapped up good, but Im still cold! They hope I learned my lesson, and I did honest!! I just hope I don't forget.....again!
So guess what! One day I was put into a moving thing with Cassie and we drove, and drove, and then for a change of pace we drove some more!! We ended up at this new place and I wasn't sure of it at all, turns out this is where Cassie and I will be living from now on!! No more of mom staying away all the time for something called school, now we live with her where she goes to school!! Woohoo!! Tons of new scents, and people, and dogs!! And guess what a new friend to play with!! I thought Ralph was annoying at first but now I realize I am bigger and can pounce on him!! And he plays with me, actually plays!!! Woohoo!! We restle and run, and if he gets to much for me a pull my super-secret move, I call it the "Jump on the bed then pounce on him!!!" Works everytime!!!
And Cassie, well she just plays referee, barking at us and telling us to stop!! But sheesh we are just having fun being boys!!! She should be happy i don't bug her to play with me anymore!! But I get no gratitude!!
