Arrival Story:
We chose to add another beagle to our family because we thought it would be nice to have a friend for Piper. We found a few breeders in the Classifieds and even put our name down for a little girl in Boise. Ironically, the one in Boise got very sick and came down with a pretty bad infection. So, we kept looking and found another breeder closer to home. When we found Lucy, she was the last female of the litter. A teeny, tiny little thing! In looking back, we have come to realize she may have been the "smaller" one of the litter (we would never say "runt") because this girl will always look like the little sister she is.

Bio:
Lucy is a lean beagle machine! She's got a kissable face and loves to be smooched between the eyes. Although she's the cutest thing you've ever seen, she's got a streak of mischief that is uncontrollable. She's left a mark on every inch of our house including nibbling on our wooden blinds, tearing sheets from digging so fast and furious in our bed, eating couch cushions and arm rests, shoes, dragging socks and clothing out back, you name it! Naughty, naughty, naughty! This year she will turn 2 years old and we're hoping she will be a big girl and get over her nasty habits. Of course, we wouldn't give her up for the world...she's our baby girl. PS Guaranteed her big sister (who is nothing short of an angel) sees her going wild and shakes her head in disgust. "You're going to get it when Mom gets home!"
