Recovery Update

It's been seven months since the surgery and Gabby is doing fantastic. She can still become stiff and gets up slow after sitting for extended periods of time. She no longer waits to be lifted onto the couch or bed. Against vet recommendations and my constant prodding she insists on jumping up to everything on her own. All in all she has recovered very well...Better than I expected actually. I was hesitant about whether the surgery was the option, both in terms of expense and risk, but based on our experience I would definately recommend it.

Knee Injury

Gabby is recovering well after surgery. She tore both her back knee ligaments. She was unable to walk or stand on her own. Surgery was performed on her right rear leg and after a long recovery she is doing well. She is able to walk and even run on her own. She is still unable to jump and needs assistance to reach here favorite spots (couch, chair, bed). She has adapted well and always waits to be lifted. She walks over to whatever she wants up on and puts her chin on it. Then she huffs and puffs until you lift her.
