Giving you kisses and huggles! I LOVE my cat, Simon--he's old and wise! I also like standing at the back fence of my Grandma's yard staring at my girlfriend's (Princess, another bully) back door. Snuggling. Going to the office to work on 'projects.'
BSL, of course! I don't like being alone at home, but Simon the cat is a good babysitter. T-bone, Princess's brother, drives me nuts! He's always tryin' to race me at the back fence. I really, Really, REALLY do not like to have my toenails clipped.
Anything that squeeks, so I can take the squeeker out. Anything that has stuffing , so I can pull the stuffing out--We call that a Furprise!. I like the football too!
I'm kinda a picky eater. My favorite food is a plain cheeseburger. I also like string cheese and toasted coconut donuts.
Anywhere!!!! Mostly to the ball park down the block or past Princess's house.
I'm learning how to do agility! I can sit, down, shake, speak, sit-pretty (sit up on hind legs),bow and stretch--that's my Doga. I can also open the back door to let myself out..oh wait that's naughty, not a trick!
I had been considering getting another dog to be a companion for EbOnY!, my 10 year old Lab-pit mix. One Saturday, my mom was at the vet with her dog. The vet told her all about this great little pitbull boy that would be a great pet. He had been waiting 2 months for someone to take him home. That Monday I came in to check out this little guy. EbOnY! tagged along because her opinion mattered as well. We met "Poodle" (name given to him at the vet's). A wiggling, kissy-face, happy boy. He impressed me with his tricks Morgan, the vet tech, taught him. That Friday Elway left the vet's office (admist the staff's tears of joy) and came to his new forever home! Elway is named after my favorite quarterback, John Elway.
Elway is the typical boy...grass stains on his knees and dirt on his face. But, he's happy! That tail is always waggin'--even when he's asleep. I'm so glad I can provide Elway with a life he so deserves.
Keep on waggin'

I've been a very busy boy! I've been taking agility class at For Your Canine in Franklin Park, IL. I really love it and my teachers Nancy and Lisa! I just moved up a level! Sometimes, when I go thru the tunnel, I get sprinkled with "Zoomie" dust. That makes me really silly and run around. Everybody laughs when this happens.
I also got to go on a photo shoot! They took a picture of me pushing a ball with my nose. It's gonna be in a science textbook for kids! My girl thinks I just might be America's Next Top Doggie Model!
I hope to keep up my diary better.

It was an extra special day for me. It was my birthday and Halloween!
Since I don't know my real age or birthday, my tech-geek girl says I'm version 3.4 today (but I'm not a Leopard).
This afternoon, I got dressed up in the Mickey Mouse costume my grandma gave me. (It's kinda embarasin') I went trick-or-treatin' at Christensen Animal Hospital. I like going there to visit my human friends, 'specially Morgan! Everyone kept sayin' how cute I was. I think my cheeks were blushin'
In the evening, my girl put candles on a football cake and sang to me! I even got a little smackeral of cake! Then my grandma gave me a present to unwrap. Most times I just have fun rippin' the wrappin' off. I got a Denver Broncos jersey that's just my size! And I got a new Broncos collar. I'm a lucky dog!
Smell ya later!

Chasin' squirrels is old news my friends! Where I live in Evanston, squirrels aren't much of a challenge cause they're everywhere and they don't seem too afraid of me.
BUT, let me just tell you about some other critters worth checkin' out.
1. Chipmunks. These guys are sneaky and chatter like crazy! They like to eat birdseed, so you may find them hanging around birdfeeders. Since they are so much smaller than squirrels, they can hide in much smaller places: pvc pipes behind the garage, under railroad timbers, gardern fountains or sculptures, piles of bricks, and old fire hydrants. However, those are mere obstacles and should not prevent you from finding them. Just move that stuff out of your way! HINT: If you catch a chipmunk, don't shake him too hard, he stops moving and isn't much fun to play with. Also, when your grandma is unhappy with the way you rearranged her garden, just give her your best sad-face. She'll forgive you soon enough!
2. Opposums. These guys like to fool you into thinkin' they're sleepin'. Don't buy that for a second!!! If you've got some canine pals who may be in the mood for a tug-o-war match, and you got no rope, just use a opposum! The one thing I don't understand is why my girl, who has a degree in biology, is grossed-out if she has to pick up the remains of such a fun game!
3. Skunks. These furry guys like to hang-out at night and early in the morning. They usually like to make their dens under evergreen bushes. My girl keeps warnin' me that they ARE NOT kitty cats. I'm not allowed to play with these guys, or even get close enough for a good sniff. My older sister, Ebony, met one once. He presented her and girl with some "perfume." Since it wasn't "Lovely" by Sarah Jessica Parker, they weren't too fond of it. So they had to take a bath in tomato juice. Is it really that bad? I wanna know! But girl says getting perfumed by a skunk once is enough for her! Yeesh, I guess I'll never know.
