Birthday: March 21st 2000 Likes: Bull loves anything involving fetching, especially playing frisbee. He also enjoys stalking squirrels. Pet-Peeves: People who object to having a drool-covered kong thrust in their lap continuously. And his housemates won't let him out to chase squirrels or racoons at all hours. Favorite Toy: Chewber frisbee, tennis ball, kongs Favorite Food: Bull's not that interested in food in general, and is highly suspicious of anything he hasn't eaten before - like that strawberry, it's probably poisonous ... Bull would rather play than eat. Favorite Walk: anywhere where you can throw a ball or a frisbee Best Tricks: Catching air on a frisbee toss Arrival Story: Before we got him, Bull was trained with 3 of his siblings to be a hunting dog for two years. Apparently he didn't make the cut, so his owner decided he'd make a better pet than hunter. My husband was convinced he wanted a GSP, but I wasn't so sure until they let us take him home for an evening. We had a great walk early the next morning, just Bull and I, and my husband called me later to say the dog cried after I went to work. That did it for me! Bio: Bull likes to play all year round, and is out in the coldest (-35C) mornings, and in the deep snow. He only gets cold when he is bored (ie when something other than playing with the dog is going on outside). When the weather starts to warm up a bit here (April in Ottawa, Canada), a good session of frisbee or catching the tennis ball can really work up a sweat; Bull's solution is to run over to the muckiest puddle he can find and bask in it to cool off (but somehow he disapproves of being hosed off afterwards).
