Tears In Heaven

The night before I passed on to Rainbow Bridge, Mom and I walked to the park. I knew Mom was sad about other things. I didn't want to leave her, but I knew I had to go. The following song was playing on the radio Mom had with us. Mom started crying 'cause she knew I had to go too. But somehow when I looked into her eyes with my loving brown eyes, I was able to let her know that it would be okay. Now, every time she hears this song, she still cries. But now they are tears of happiness 'cause she knows I'm okay. I'm playing and frolicking in the green fields with flowers with all the other doggies. There is no sadness or pain here. And a part of her is always with me - loving me. And a part of me will always be with her - always.

Mom put the lyrics to this song here in hopes that others who have lost a beloved one will find peace like she has. Remember that our loved ones never really leave us - they are in our souls forever.

Tears in heaven" Lyric by "Eric Clapton"

Would you know my name
if I saw you in heaven ?
Would you feel the same
if I saw you in heaven ?
I must be strong and carry on.
'Cause I know I don't belong here in heaven.
Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven ?
I'll find my way through night and day.
'Cause I know I just can't stay here in heaven.
Time can bring you down
time can bend your knees.
Time can break your heart
have you begging please.
Begging please...
Beyond the door there's peace I'm sure.
And I know there'll be no more tears in heaven.
Would you know my name
if I saw you in heaven ?
Would you feel the same
if I saw you in heaven ?
I must be strong and carry on.
'Cause I know I don't belong here in heaven.
