Arrival Story:
After rescuing Flounder, I began the search for another dog. Really, a playmate for Flound and I wanted to try to save another dog's life. "Give a Dog a Home" in Ridgetop, Tennessee was Trout's foster care location after being rescued from a Memphis pound. My parents went to check him out for me (I saw him on petfinder.com) and told me he the cutest(they negelcted to say biggest!) lab mix that they had ever seen. When he arrived at 12 weeks and 30 pounds, I knew that I was going to be a completely suckered by this dog because he really was that cute...He "squeaked" when he wanted something, or when something wasn't going his way from the very beginning and to this day he can sound like a 20 pound dog, instead of a 120 pound dog when he wants. He and Flounder hit it off from the very beginning, playing "crazy dog" and wresting with each other constantly. They are the best of friends and definitely double-trouble most of the time! Everyone asks if they are brothers...
