Arrival Story:
I got Mel from my breeder. I found out that she was the niece of my whippet that had died the year before. I went to see her one afternoon and fell in love on the spot. She is so much like her aunt that it is scary. She does the same things and even looks like her. She is my precious little girl.
Bio:
Melba is my life, My love, My Companion, My dog. I love every ounce of her being. She is the funniest little thing on four legs. She will take carrots fresh from the garden (stems and all) and play with them for hours on end! Tossing them into the air, taking the time to eat alittle of it and play with it some more. She will get into anything, especially if you don't want her to. One of her favorites is to help me weed. I pull a weed, she grabs it and runs off, leaving me to clean up the yard (again) when she is done. She is my chosen one.
