I just taught Bailey to give kisses. It's MY favorite trick, anyway. :)
Arrival Story:
I wanted a companion to keep me company for when my husband is deployed and while he is at work. (I stay at home and go to school) We went to the humane society looking for a small breed dog. Wow, that didn't go according to plan! I saw Bailey and fell in love! He was sitting in his little crate with 3 other puppies, but he stood out as the obvious sweet one. We took him out to get aquainted, and as my husband and I are discussing how big he was going to get, he walked up to Mitch and (I swear!) he put both his little paws on his lap, laid his head down, and gave us that first puppy dog look. (Anyone who has a dog KNOWS the look I am talking about) That was it. It was too darn cute. He was definantly the one. We adopted him right then and there.

Today Mom took me to the dog park for the very first time. I had so much fun! My friend Colby was there and we met new friends together. Colby is much bigger then I am, but he is so nice and gentle with me... he even shared his toy! Mom tried to practice my tricks with me, but I was having so much fun that I didn't even notice the treats!! Mom and I said bye to Colby and his mom after a couple of hours of playing and running around. We went home and I was so tired I just crashed! I hope Mom takes me to the dog park everyday!!
