Puppies

I had my puppies today! 4 girls and 2 boys! I did very well delivering them, considering this was my first litter. Jake is the daddy, he lives in my house too!
My human mommy was with me, and she called my human daddy and had him come home from work so he didn't miss it!
After all six were delivered, they took me and the puppies to the doctor to make sure we were all ok, and they took an x-ray of me to make sure there were no puppies left!
They say that I am a good mommy, I don't like being away from my puppies, but I know that I have to go outside a few times a day. And when I get back I check all my puppies, and give them a bath (again).
Jake doesn't really care that the puppies have arrived (typical). And, uncle Bo only pretends to want to see the puppies, but he really is trying to sneak any food that is left in my bowl.
My human parents say that I may get to keep one of my puppies - I am not sure why any of them have to leave. But, I guess I should be happy that they are letting me keep one - I wonder which one it will be?
I love being a mom!
