R.I.P. Chica Luna, I miss you soooo much!

We will love you forever and ever!!!!

My sister Chica was shot to death Fri June 2, 2006 around 3pm. Me, Chica & Chico decided it would be cool to get out of the fence and play in Mr. Charles's yard! We were horsing around for a while until we all noticed the front gate was missing a board. This was just too cool for us. Momma wouldn't even know we were out! A little boy came by riding his bicycle and Chica thought it would be sooo cool to chase him cause Mommy never lets us do that when she's around. Mom always says we have to be on our very best behavior because people who don't own or know our breed, don't understand our breed. I don't know why people think we are all mean and vicious. Mommy has taught us well and even had us in training classes. We are good babies to mommy and other people. A sheriff happen to be driving by and said he saw Chica chasing that lil boy on his bike. I saw everything, Chica was just playing but other people who don't know her thought she was trying to attack him. The cop said he felt my Chica was a threat to him and shot her. Right in front of us! After she was shot 4 times we ran home. I couldn't believe what I had just saw. How could someone be soooo cruel to Chica. She was mommy and daddy's good girl. She stayed out of trouble unlike we did. Ya know, momma had 6 cop cars and the yellow caution tape blocking off 2 streets to my house? Was that necessary? Animal control wasn't ganna take me and Chico to their holding facility but the main Sheriff demanded we be taken in even though we were already confined in our yard. They were being real mean to mommy, even checked her for a criminal background. Chico and I didn't get any sleep that night! All the other dogs were crying and fighting and hoping their mommy and daddy's would show up. They even passed kennel cough to us and now mom is furious! I just knew mommy would be here soon. When it comes to us daddy has no say! We waited and waited all night. I just couldn't believe mommy hadn't come yet. Sat. morning 11:01. I saw mommy and daddy and it was the best feeling ever! I just couldn't believe she took sooo long. Momma paid our fine and got us home ASAP. I see her crying all the time now. I just want to hold and hug her but I cant so I just try to lick her tears away. I really miss Chica too. I dont eat much, just like momma. Me and Chico* are really really sad now. Mom tries to take us to the park but we still miss Chica being by our side. Daddy has changed a lil bit too. I have noticed he is always excited to see me and Blue now. Daddy said he never knew how much he appreciated us until this happened. Its cause we always make daddy mad. We always chew his stuff and have to be on the bed with momma at night. She loved Chica more than words can explain! I feel her hurt and pain. I hope All Dogs go to Heaven, just like the movie. Chica was a big part of our life and that cop took her from us. He didn't even give her a chance to tell Mommy bye! Momma is one of the biggest animal lovers ever! How could they do this to her? She is always making us jealous cause she hates to see strays in the streets and wants to bring them all home. She feeds us the best food, makes sure we are healthy and vaccinated at all times. She even lets us sleep in the bed at night with her and daddy. Even if it causes her not to get enough sleep! She really loves us! Mommy and Daddy are the best parents any dog could ask for. Please pray for Chica. She will always be mommy and daddy's lil fat girl!
