Birthday: October 1st 2000 Likes: Human company, walks, sniffing Pet-Peeves: Being pushed off the couch Favorite Toy: chew toy Favorite Food: Greenies Favorite Walk: Riverside Park Best Tricks: Lying down Arrival Story: Rescued from a slightly scary shelter in upstate NY where he had been chained to a tree and attacked by a loose pit-bull. Bio: Charlie has been a wonderful addition to our lives since we
rescued him from a shelter 18 months ago after being abandoned and attacked by a pit-bull at the shelter. He is a regular at the 106th St. dog run, craves human company at all times, and there’s nothing he likes better than getting pets from his owner on the couch. He arrived in our home with some low level anxiety and dominance which we have not been able to entirely eliminate, and now that we have a newborn we have sadly concluded he will not be a good match for a toddler. His ideal new owner would have a relatively regular schedule and a comfort level with his anxiety. He has also been a great second dog in a household where he has stayed several times when we are out of town, showing less anxiety with another dog around. Please consider if there is anyone you know who might give this deserving dog a home! I've Been On Dogster Since:
