She loves playing with Dad and being petted and groomed by Mom. Maisy actually lives in Louisville, KY (not Ohio). She has a nephew named Xander who lives in central Ohio.

My nephew Xander--Oh, the horror

This past weekend, my sister came to visit from Columbus. I was so excited to see her! Then, I noticed that she had brought with her this little pug. Well, my Dad claims he warned me that I had a new nephew, Xander, and that he was coming to visit, but I don't remember hearing anything about that. I didn't really like Xander at first and told him as much. He had the audacity to sit on my couch, drink from my water bowl (even though he had his own), and, you know, he even sat on my dad's lap! That's MY dad! The nerve of that little pug! Anyway, things were rather tense for a couple of days, and I got in trouble whenever Xander and I argued (well, except for the few times he started it. Then he got in trouble). I finally realized that I was going to have to make the best of the situation. On Sunday, dad and sis took both of us next door to play with my friend, Buster. Things went pretty well. We all played together and I only had to half-hearted snap at Xander a couple of times to keep him from getting too chummy with my best furfriend. By Monday, Xander and I were playing outside and lying around in the shade together. He went home yesterday and, ya know, I kinda miss the little twerp. Maybe having a nephew isn't so bad.
