Arrival Story:
Gallie was one of the sons of Rheastat. "Fionna's Gallium Arsenic" was his full registered name, Fionna being my mom.
Bio:
Gallie loved to run around and test the "dachshund-proof" fence with his fine burrowing abilities (and also the ability to lead Spatula out of the fence, only to come back in and get him in trouble :) ). He loved to snuggle in bed at night and had a space-heater like knack to keep you warm in the winter. He was a very good and loyal dog and joy to have around.
In the fall of 1997 a family friend accidently left the basement door open (where the dogs were not allowed anyway) and Spatula and Gallie escaped at night. Gallie was hit by a car right outside our house. He was killed instantly and did not suffer.
