gracie's an adoptamutt from the flower mound humane society in tx. the day we found each other, i was hunting for the pup i'd seen on a shelter's website, but by the time i'd gotten there, the pretty terrier had been adopted. i searched at a couple of shelters and several humane society booths that day, and found 2-year-old gracie at my last stop, coincidentally the place closest to my home. she was incredibly shy at first, hiding under furniture (i'm guessing she was treated poorly by her first owner) but we were soon inseperable.
