So mom made us costumes.
Everyone thought we were cute.

So Far I'm Okay

I'm doing well since I came home.
I'm forming a new schedule. I get 4 meals a day and my medication at various times throughout the day.
No more icky anti-vomit medication as of yesterday. I kept my food down no problem. :)
Very good news, no more blood in my stool, but we have to watch in case it happens again.

I finish my antibiotic this weekend. one less medication to worry about.

My family took pictures of me. I look so anorexic. They tease me and say I'm going for the new celebrity diet look.

I'll keep you all posted on my condition.

Update on Me, I'm Home

Thanks Everyone for the prayers, rosettes, and messages.
I’m home now. It’s not diabetes or epilepsy. I have an ulcer and a sever case of IBS.
The ulcer made me vomit and the IBS made me have bloody stool. All this lead to me being dehydrated and losing weight. I had IV fluids for 2 days.

I’m able to eat and keep food down thanks to an anti-vomit medicine and an ulcer medicine.
Right now the vets want me to eat and gain some of my weight back. So they are only treating my ulcer. They only want to treat one thing at a time.

I look like the skeleton dog from The Corpse Bride.

It will be a while before we figure out everything that is wrong with me, more tests and doctor visits.

We are stopping my anti-vomit medication tomorrow and I’ll only get it as needed.

Lets pray that I gain weight.

Update on Me

Miaka is home now. She was doing okay last night, but she’s been pretty sick again early this morning. She didn’t keep her breakfast down
The Emergency vets were no help. They just cost a fortune. They first insisted on epilepsy and then diabetes, but the tests were negative. It is IBS. So we’ve been doing our research on medications and diets. Our vet says he can’t do anymore for her. If she keeps having bloody stool and vomiting. We just have to stabilize her and get her eating and keeping her food down.
She was a 7 pound dog and now over the past 6-8 months she is less than four pounds.
Please keep praying and if you know anything that my help please let us know.

I need your Prayers.

Miaka Needs your Prayers and Positive thoughts.
She has recently been having Bloody stool due to ulcerative colitis, a type of Irritable bowl syndrome.
She came home from the vet this morning after having test done.
At Noon today she had a Grand Mal seizer that lasted for about 1 min.
Then about 9 min later she had a second one that lasted for about 2 min.
She is now at the Emergency vet with her owner and G-ma (Grandma)
This is all to scary for our family. Our First Chihuahua, Sienna, started having seizers shortly after we adopted her. She spent one week in the Emergency hospital where they tried to control her seizers. Sadly they couldn’t help her in time and she passed away. It was so devastating to our family.
Please pray for her so we don’t have to see this tragedy again.

Super Busy Week

This weekend mom and Aunti went to the local super adoption and sold stuff. 160 Dog and 45 cats found new homes. Yeah!! I’m glad they found humans to love them. Right after the Super Adoption mom had to rush over to receive an award for having a 3.4 GPA in College. Then we celebrated Mothers Day at our great great grandma’s house. We had cake, yum. Of course all parties are for me.
We found out our Great great Grandma has breast cancer. She's having surgery on June 5th, so if I'm not around you know why.
Mom and Aunti spent the rest of there time studying for there finals on Tuesday and Thursday. She is officially done with school today. More time to play on Dogster and more time to work them for special biscuits. Did I mention aunti and mom made me special peanut butter biscuits.

Updates

Well my mom wasn't using her dogster pages, so she asked dogster to transfer all of my stuff to my Aunts account. So her I am. My aunt did a total page make over for me. I love it.
So I've been lounging with my family and watching TV, my favorite. I love the food channel. I love food and sleep.
The weekend was great I watched all the TV I wanted and tried to get maximum nummies, but that wasn't too successful.
At breakfast today I nabbed a big bite from my aunt’s toast when she wasn't looking.

Oh Goody!

Well this is starting out to be a good summer. Mommy is making me knitted dog clothes! Well not for me, for a doggie fashion show. My aunt makes dog clothes, sews them on this really loud machine and my mommy knits clothes. I love what my mommy makes.

Tama, my Aunts dog, started his own forum under "what I love about dogster" you should check it out! Its called, "Got Chihuahuas????"
