My Tail of Devotion for Rocky RacoonJuly 18th 2006 3:45 pm[ Leave A Comment ]
 I grew up wanting an Australian Cattle Dog. I had always admired the way they looked and how their people bragged about how intelligent and faithfull this breed is. I even wrote a story about one in grade school for one of my writing assignments. Well Rocky is my first ACD. In my eyes she is the worlds most beautiful dog, and she knows it. I have never imagined just how special an ACD could be. Because of Rocky I have met many new people in all kinds of fun dog sports. Rocky LOVES to compete. We train and compete in Agility regularly, and we dabble with Flyball, Lure Coursing and Frisbee. Next we will give our try at K9 Freestyle. Rocky Racoon lives to learn. She can be taught a new trick in less than five minutes. My lack of imagination is the only thing that holds her back from doing more. Rocky Racoon is the best darn dog in the world!!! I love her and thank God for the day I found a litter of pups for sale in my neighborhood. Mary Thompson
