"The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with her & not only will she not scold you, but she will make a fool of herself too."

Favorite Toy: stuffed squeaky toys.
Best Tricks: Sneezing on command, fall down and speak
Arrival Story: I saw an ad in the newspaper for an adoption event planned by Second Chance Pets at a local pet store. I convinced my ex that getting another dog would be great for Bandit and the new dog may be able to sense when Bandit was going to have a seizure. Yes, I know it is a stretch but I wanted a puppy and it worked. (I got that story after watching Animal Planet. They had a story about a dog that sensed it sisters seizures before they happened)
I looked at a cute litter of puppies, there were 5 males & 1 female. I have always had females so I choose Sadie, who at the time was named Scruffy. She was very laid back. Of course as soon as I got her home I realized she was very sick-worms. After vet treatment and a clean bill of health, Sadie and Bandit were introduced and were the very best friends from moment one. Bandit took on a Mother role and treated Sadie like her pup. It was the greatest friendship I have ever witness between 2 dogs.
Bio: Sadie was diagnosed with a tumor contained entirely within the tissues of the buccal cavity, behind the commissure of the jaw on
9-1-2009. Our finally day together after 15 years was on September 21, 2009.
Check out all the honors Sadie Boo has enjoyed...

I am learning so much here at the Rainbow Bridge. I have learned the real reason thunder and lightening happening. (Which I pawed down about in a previous diary entry) Now I have learned about clouds. Those big white fluffy clouds I used to look at when I was outside in my yard. The humans have all kinds of crazy ideas about clouds. Clouds are made by us doggies here at the Rainbow Bridge. Every time a puppy/dog destuffs a toy, the stuffing makes those big white fluffy clouds that you see. See it really is a simply explanation.
I am so honored that my Dogster friends, Gwen, Gretchen, Benny, VI, Mamie and their Mommy gave a gift in my name to Best Friends Animal Society. Thanks to their kindness and love, homeless pets near and far will have a second chance.
Bless all of you.
