Arrival Story:
I work for a wonderful animal rescue group named Woodstock Animal Foundation (visit them at www.woodstockaf.org). Sasha was actually my very first rescue from a very overcrowded shelter and she was on "death row". One look at her cute little face cowering in the corner of her kennel told me she HAD to be saved. I took her out of the shelter along with 2 other dogs that day. I took Sasha home to be her foster mommy until she had been spayed and evaluated. She was VERY timid and shy. For the first two days in my house all she did was hide under one of my kitchen chairs. Slowly she started peering out from her hiding spot. My boxer Allie helped her alot! She loved her foster sister! She would come out and take little treats from my husband's hand, then run back to her spot quickly!!
Her wonderful sweet, playful personality came shining through more each day.
We never meant to keep her, just foster her until she could be adopted. But we all fell in love with her (especially my husband who SWORE we would not have another dog ;) )
So now, she's one of the family, wrestling with her sister Allie and even her brother Guinness who didn't want ANYTHING to do with her at fist. He would growl whenever she was within 5 feet of him. But now they're the best of friends!!

Mommy really needs to put some new pictures up of me! I'm am SO big and strong now. My and my boxer sister Allie play ALL day long! Its great! My mom says something about me playing like a boxer cuz Allie raised me. I wonder if thats bad?!?!?!?!? Oh well, I know everyone loves me so I'm ok.
