Arrival Story:
i was searching for a Sheltie.. i was hoping I might be able to help one in need that might be in a shelter somewhere.. We traveled all over looking.. We found Spring Texas where a single lady was trying on her own to rescue and help dogs that were going to be put to sleep.. She used her own money she earned while working at the shelter to give the dogs , food, shots and anything else they needed. She had one litter of Aussie Mix pups which would soon be put to sleep if they did not find homes.. George and his sister came running out and clung to us.. We took both pups home with us that day. My son now owns the sister and we have George. Sadly even with much effort to socialize both dogs.. they both still carry some apprehension towards people they do not know.. It is felt the mother whom had always been a stray , transfered the fear to her puppys.. Once george knows you mean him no harm he instantly loves you and you are forever his friend .
