Arrival Story:
My now ex husband and I had just moved into our first home together and we really wanted a dog to be a part of the family. Then a friend told us about some puppies going free to good homes. The owners only lived ropund the corner from us and their garden backed onto ours. Well, we decided to go have a nosey. There were about 6 lil puppies and this really tiny cute pup came straight over to us and looked at us with those adoreable eyes and I was totally in love! She was the only puppy that looked like her mummy all the others were like their Daddy. She was a tiny 6 weeks old and she came home with us that very Day!

Sheba's mum was a Golden retriever and her dad was German Shepherd. She was the runt of the litter and had to be revived and I am so greatful to those people as she gave us 11 wonderful years of happiness and loyalty. At the relatively young age of 11 she suddenly collapsed as she was going outside to go potty. Took her to the vet immediately who after thoroughly checking her over told us that all her organs were dying. He said he could prescribe her something but that it would only prolong her agony. So we decided it was best to have her pts. It was the hardest decision to make and to this day I hope it was the right one. I still miss her very much. She was a very much loved and cherished member of the family. God Bless you sweet child. By the way, she is smiling in the main pic!
