I did it!!!

we just had storms that woke all of us up! me and poor Duchess, can't stand those loud thunder and the sky lighting up! so we are all awake.
I decided to go ahead an up date my diary with my great news!! mom is so proud of me!! Got weighed today, and I have lost 21 lbs!! only 5 more pounds to go. They all thought I looked so good and pretty!! everyone at Dr Greg's off was telling me and mom. Then after that, Charis (my furless cousin) and her dad were driving through here on there way to North Dakota to see her grandma, so me and mom went and meet them at the place they were stopped to get gas. First time I got to meet her. SO I had one of the bestest days, well except for these thunder/lighting storms. but I think they are gone, mom said we needed the rain plus it is cooling it off here which I will like cause it has been 108 for the last few days, way to hot to go out and play.
gotta go, mom said time to go back to bed!

Take Your Dog to Work Day

woohoo!! check out my new pictures! I went to work with mom today! I have so much fun when I go to the airport. I walk up and down the halls and look in everyone's office to say hi! I get to go lay in the lobby and greet eveyone as they come in then the best thing of all is I get to go on an airplane! mom's camera wasn't working right so she missed the picture of me being the co-pilot!
I am one tired puppy!! I need a nap!

Going to work with Mom!!

this coming Friday is take your pet to work day! I get to go!! woohoo!! plus mom says everyone at the airport where mom works just loves me anyway! well duh mom why wouldn't they!! pleaze!!
Dallas doesn't get to go cause he gets a little cranky sometimes when people come up to me or mom, but not me!! I love everyone! the pilots throw balls down the long hall for me to run up and down and get, sometimes I even get to go ride in the airplanes with them BOL !!
I am so excited I get to go to work with mom!!

We (or rather mom) was one of the ones selected by Dogster and Dyson to Product Test the new Dyson DC28 Airmuscle vacuum, goes on sale June 7th, 2009.

Product Testing for Dyson

We got one a few weeks ago and mom was a cleaning nut. Then she started having problems with the monster hehehe, didn't hurt our feelings at all. I would go and hide in the bed and Dallas would chase mom and that DC28 monster! Dallas thought maybe that airmuscle monster was afraid of him and just stopped. BOL !! But no, mom, Dogster HQ and Dyson talk, next thing I know there is another one being delievered and picked up the old one.

Well now I will tell you mom's side. You would not believe the way this machine picks up dog hair and dirt. Mom knew the old vacuum wasn't picking up the hair like it should but I had no idea how bad it was until she used this DC28. She said the air even seems cleaner. you should hear her on the phone with family and friends. She even told my human aunt that when she goes to Texas to visit she will take it with her and vacuum her house. She said she would do the aunts houses and nana's house. Told them after they see how great this Dyson DC 28 AirMuscle is they will buy one. Even had a friend of a friend that mom doesn't even know call and mom told her about it and she is going to go buy one next week when it hits the stores. Mom was telling her things like, it has 2 filters, that you just rinse about every 3 months and let dry, it is a little heavy but not to bad. Mom said if everyone else had 5 dogs that shed you do have to empty the canister a lot and it would help if that was a little bigger but she doesn't think after using it regular she will have to empty it as much as the first few times.
Mom said now if she can get us to sit next to it with out me being scared of it and Dallas trying to bite it she will put a picture of the monster on our page!

Power of the Paw for Tuesday

My sweet friend ToOs! (Tuesday), is sick, please cross your paws that she will be feeling better soon.

Update from her mom after taking her to the Vet :
X-rays show Tuesday's tiny little bladder is pretty thick (which means she's had this awhile) and chucked full of Struvite Stones. Struvite is the kind that "should" dissolve on their own with a special diet. She does not have any in the urethra so that is good, as of right now she will not have to have surgery. They are not sure why she can't potty. They are thinking she is so upset about not feeling well that she can't relax enough to just let it flow even though she knows she needs to potty or she is in just too much pain. She has been given pain medication so hopefully that will help her relax to go potty. If she can go potty she gets to come home, if not she will have to stay at the clinic. She has also been given antibiotics.

Tuesday morning update on ToOs!
Tuesday did get to come home last night although I don't know if she remembers much she was on so much medication.

She was drowsy and a bit wobbly but she was able to pee a tiny bit but her sister said that was excellent that it was ALOT for her with her problems. It wasn't but a teaspoon and the color was awful I was shocked. So the good thing is she didn't have to have a catheter since she was able to go.

She slept all through the night until this morning. She went out to potty and was able to go about a tablespoon this time. She was wagging her tail and glad to see everyone. A very good sign.

She does have to go back to the clinic today, actually she is already there. More tests, medications and they want to monitor her urine and keep watch on her. She was also running a slight fever yesterday.

She hasn't eaten at all since Sunday; maybe she will get to eat today.

So everything is going pretty well. She can't jump on or off the furniture as she's in too much pain. She looks as if she is still straining to pee but I think that will get better too.

Busted Again.......Counter Surfing!!!

I did it again, actually a few more times but this time I got in BIG trouble!!!
This time, I ate the cake mom baked! I can tell you she was not happy with me. Dallas told on me!! Mom figures its cause I wouldn’t share with him!! Believe me, Dallas is enough of a bully butt, if he had wanted the cake he would have made me move, I think he was just mad he didn’t think of it first. Hey, he could have gotten the grumps I was dropping on the floor, Boogie was eating them! BOL !!
See mom was putting the icing on the cake when her work phone rang; she pushed the cake back, but not far enough :)
I pulled it over just enough to bury my face in it.
She was so upset with me. She busted me later in the day trying to pull the slower cooker over to the edge. The roast and potatoes and carrots smelled so good.
She said something about me not be allowed in the kitchen anymore if I didn’t stop counter surfing. I tell you it is cause her and Dr Greg are starving me. Mom thinks I have gained back some of the 13 lbs I have lost in the last 10 months. Surely not just from eating half the Rice, chicken and broccoli casserole or the cake?!?
This morning I was surfing but couldn't find any food, I smelled it but couldn't find it. I was getting in trouble, mom was shaking her finger at me, when Dallas just came and walked right in between us and started cleaning my eye and jowls. I know mom was laughing inside, who wouldn't. Mom said Dallas really doesn't like any of us furkids getting in trouble and I am really surprised he didn't bark at her when she was getting on to me.

My New Coats

My Aunt Renae (mom's sister) made me 2 coats. I hate the cold. Mom would have to drag me outside to do my business.
The first one was a little small, I think mom must have sent her measurements for Rascal instead me! BOL !! it was just a little short. It was a pretty green one. The second one she made me, a pretty pink one fits perfect.
