Birthday?

Hello everyone! Today is a special day, so my mommy says. She says it's my "birthday" and I'm one year old. I don't know what she's talking about - what's a year anyhow? And how did I become one of them?

Well, we had a good day today, Yumi and I played SO much this morning, wehardly ran at all for our lunch walk, and instead decided it was time to chew sticks. Mom doesn't like that, she says we poop wood when we do that, so she took us home. It is nice and warm there, so I slept on the sofa while mom was on the computer doing "business" stuff. BORING!!!!!!!!!

Daddy is home now, and something smells REALLY good downstairs, so I'm going to go check him out.

What is this \"snow\" stuff anyhow?

So, mom is all excited and jumpt over some kind of new treat called "snow". I don't know what it is but she keeps using the "soon" word, which is usually tied into something good, but I have to wait for it, so I guess it will be OK.

I stopped going to doggie day care every day but have found new and exciting ways to be bad and make a mess at home. I think mom is going to put me and my sister Yumi back there a couple days a weel once those strange men who bang around a lot are done. Something about "having a kitchen again" and day care, but I don't know what that means.

I have a new friend who comes and walks me and Yumi every day when mom and dad are at work - her name is Bev and I LOVE HER! She is so nice, and gives us treats and lets us play with other dogs.

I will let you know more about the "snow" thing after "soon" happens. Maybe we'll have pictures too!

Growin up!

Well, the last few months have been busy ones for me! Where to begin....

OK, our house has been under construction, so on my third month birthday, mommy started me in Doggie Daycare while she and daddy work. I have soooo much fun playing with the other dogs every day! If you look at my photos, they are from the daycare, and in the summer, we have swimming pools to play in - which is my favorite part.

I have also been up to the Poconos a couple of times. That's where I am from, and I love running around on our big lawn and in the woods with daddy. There's all kinds of smells from other animals and plants and BIG things called 'horses' which are a little scary.

I also play at the local dog park with my friends, Summer (a greyhound) Sylvester (a boxer) and a lot of other big dogs. I love playing with big dogs, but one of my closest friends is a Boston Terrier puppy who is the same age as me. His name is Oggie.

Life is good...
