 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: February 3rd 2001
Likes: Barking, patrolling the borders, dressing up, snoozing under a warm blanket, belly rubs, snuggles, neck rubs, savaging people who come to the door, licking faces with his exceptionally stinky breath, keeping the neighbourhood awake at night.

Pet-Peeves: People or dogs (other than his family) invading his turf, looking at him wrong, breathing and/or existing. Oliver stealing his food. Not getting his morning cuddle - it makes him discombobulated all day long. Trash day.

Favorite Toy: Rawhide chews, random strangers.

Favorite Food: Cheese, anything he can fit in his mouth.

Favorite Walk: Around our neighbourhood.

Best Tricks: He doesn't do tricks, although he does a pretty fair impression of the Snoopy Dance.

Arrival Story: We'd been thinking about getting Oliver a companion to keep him company during the day, and as we were passing the local pound we decided to go in and have a look. I immediately fell in love with Nugget. He was sharing a cell with a sad little pomeranian whose fur was falling out and who had apparently staked claim to the one available bed, so poor little Nugget sat in the back, all quiet and sweet, watching us hopefully. Little were we to know that this sweetness was purely an act to get us to take him home with us. He'd only been there about two hours, so we had to wait to see if the owners would claim him. When he wasn't claimed after 3 days, we went down and brought him home. 10 minutes after we picked him up, he was already growling at strangers, as he sat in the child's seat of a PetSmart shopping cart.

Bio: Nugget is a rescue double-dapple dachshund
with a Napoleanic complex. He's very sweet once he sees you're nothing to be afraid of, but he has some aggression issues with strangers/people on his turf that we're trying to work through. We get him to lay peacefully on the couch, but he's just not ready to open up yet.

I'm a bit behind here (Mum doesn't let me on the computer all that much since I tend to start flame wars), but I got tagged awhile ago by Nugget CGC, so here goes.
Here are the rules (Hint: Copy and paste the rules so you don't have to type them again):
Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Dogs who are tagged, need to post in their Diary the rules & their 7 pawsome facts. Then choose 7 dogs to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to bark them a pmail that they have been tagged and to read your Diary, or, send them a fun Rosette announcing they've been Tagged!
So here are 7 fun facts about me...
1. I'm a double-dapple dachshund
2. I'm a rescue pup
3. I'm a little bit obsessive about my human daddy
4. I'm the protector of my house (unlike Oliver who would roll over for a belly rub if someone broke in)
5. Licking people is one of my favourite hobbies
6. I don't really like playing with chew toys, but wave a cat toy in front of me, and I'll be obsessed for hours
7. I sleep best under a blanket, preferably on a human lap
I don't really spend a lot of time around here, so I don't know anyone very well, but here are my 7 tags:
1. Heidi
2. Phoebe
3. Maximus
4. Toby
5. Moose
6. Harper
7. Sila
