A Scary Day on the Boat

Well, if dog's had nine lives like cats do, I would have definitely used one today......Now, I LOVE to go out on the boat, but today something really scary happened.....I had a senior moment, as my Mommy calls them.....we were riding along, going home after fishing.....and I just jumped right out of the boat!!!.....Now, I have been swimming before and my Mommy tells me I am an excellent swimmer, but when I jumped in it was soooo cold, I just couldnt breathe and couldnt move and those big waves that come off the back of the boat were going over my head.....it was soooo scary.....My Daddy stopped the boat real quick and I could see my Mommy was very upset!!.....they tried to get me to swim over to the boat but I couldnt, I knew I was in trouble when my Mommy jumped in the burrrrrrr cold water and got me.....It was soooo cold, Mommy couldnt move and Daddy had to throw her one of those floating things to hold on to...When we got over to the boat, Daddy helped both of us out......they didnt fuss at me at all....Mommy kept saying "Shes just glad to still have me" and I am a Miracle Baby, whatever that means....I have gotten lots of extra kisses ever since!! Now Mommy says I will have to wear some kind of jacket when we go out on the boat....I wonder what thats gonna be like....What a SCARY , SCARY day on the boat!!
