Mom entered me in AKC's non-regular Pre-Novice Obedience class so I can learn exactly what goes on in a ring!

Mom says I can do really well as long as she works HARD on proofing my 'stays' when we get there since we haven't worked on those in a large/trial setting in a while! But good news is it's all on leash and that way mom doesn't have to worry about me losing interest and she can RUN with me to our treat stash when I'm done regardless of my 'performance' because she just wants this to be a confidence booster! Go me!

Buzzer- who is happy because it's almost time for mommy to come home for the summer! YAY more shows and AGILITY CLASS!

RN leg #1

Mom and I got my first RN leg on saturday with a 100/100 and third place. Mom was VERY proud of me and I was SO happy to be there with mom. Rally is LOTS of fun and I'm glad I get to be part of it now!

Mom said she's looking for more trials now. Bailey gets to compete in Rally Advanced and Novice Obedience.

I hope they're soon because I really like it when mom comes home and we get to go play!

Buzzy

well...

I've been sad lately... my mommy is away at college and grandma takes care of Bailey and I. I know she tries hard but its just not the same as having mommy there... Mom worked with me everyday... I played with her and we went for walks all by ourselves... Grandma takes Bailey and I ALL THE TIME! I really don't like it because those two just move and I like to stop and smell the roses... She tells me that I should be happy I get out for a walk.

I CAN'T wait until next year... mommy said she gets to "rent a house" whatever that means... and I can live with her... just her and me and some more people! I'm SO excited! It'll be better than before! No Bailey, Rascal, Rasza, OR Baby to steal her! She'll be ALL MINE! What am I going to do?

I hope this year goes by fast!

Food!

Mommy has been battling with my allergies for a LONG time now (she things 3 years). She thinks that she might have found a combination of dry foods (HER mommy won't let her feed us RAW!) to help me!

Right now I am eating NV New Zealand Venison, which I like, but doesn't seem to be helping with my allergies.

So, Mommy has tried Fromm's Salmon and Innova EVO on me and I LOVED them both and mommy thinks that they might have helped a little! So she is going to try mixing them (and adding SeaMeal as usual) to see how I react!

Hopefully I will feel better soon!

Buzzy Boy

State 4-H

Buzz and I competed at the Wisconsin State 4-H dog show and did very well! We won our grade group (12-13) then went on to win Best Senior Handler (winners from grade 10, 11, and 12-13). We lost in Best Overall but I was very happy with his performance and happiness. It's kinda a long story about why we lost, but we COULD have won. Our performance was dwindling as that was our 3rd time in the ring... he was getting tired.

Ah well... we got some really great trophies and had a ton of fun! Even got to practice our recall. My aunt didn't even realize that he snuck out of the car and as I walked out of the registration building I saw him wandering around. I used our cue "Buzzy Come!" and he came a flying... you can bet he got LOTS of yummy treats for that!
