Arrival Story:
A close relative was diagnosed with terminal illness soon after she acquired the dog. She and Petey stayed at our house for most of a year before she passed away. She asked if we would take care of him and love him after she was gone. We loved him anyway, and our dog, Max, loved him, so we agreed to this and he is now a member of our family.

THE SPRING THING

It's spring again, and I'm so glad
that the cold is over for this little lad....
My hair is quite short, and since
I'm quite tiny,
When I potty in winter
I freeze my 'lil hiney!
But that all changes
when spring rolls around....
The grass starts to show on
that old, cold ground.
The sunshine warms my
cute little face,
And I can run and frolic
and chase and race!
And as I let fly
my little yellow river,
I love it that I don't
shake and shiver!!!
SPRING IS A MAHVELOUS THING!
