Likes: car rides, new bones, walks where there are squirrels

Pet-Peeves: cats stealing the bones, dogs bigger than her, baths

Favorite Food: Cheese!

Favorite Walk: Downtown, where she can see people with other dogs

Best Tricks: roll over, shake hands, speak, go find the cat

Arrival Story: Koke was just a puppy when I got her from a breeder. She's traveled with me all over the USA since then, and we've been pretty much inseparable (including that time we got caught in a flood, though she was a bit miffed at me afterwards- she hates getting her paws wet).

Bio: Koke is spayed and lives with four other animals, including her private squirrels (the chinchillas).

Mel says that next month, we're taking a trip to visit her mom in Virginia! Whoo hoo! AND, she's continuing negotiations with Steve to get another dog. By "continuing negotiations" I mean she wants to get another small dog as a sort of companion for me (which would be FUN! Cats don't like to play, really), and Steve thinks that we have enough animals already (two cats and two chinchillas and me aren't THAT many!). Though, Mel says she'd like to adopt a small dog, an older dog, because she knows I don't have much patience for puppies.
So I guess we'll see.

This was the first time today I saw dogs in this apartment complex! Two! One as Mel and I were getting off the elevator- he was very sniffy and I was curious but as there were people waiting for the elevator and I had to go, Mel and I walked down the hallway.
Once we were outside, there was this... mop sort of thing, a Maltese, that really wanted to sniff noses, but it was raining and I wanted to do my business quickly. But they do exist here, in something other than scent!

So Mel moved all of us to a new home. We don't live in the wood-floored apartment anymore, we live in a new place, very high in the sky! The first time I came over here, Mel let me sit on the window-sill and oooohhhh wow! We were so high! I was a little scared- the cars look smaller than my bones! I was also a little afraid I would fall, but Mel wouldn't let that happen.
Anyway, I like this new place a lot better. Mel lets me play now, because I can play without scratching the floors (because it's carpet and tile). A couple days ago she took a video of me spinning! I love to spin- Mel laughs so much and it makes me happy. Then she'll play with me- she let me tear up an old sheet the other day, too, to play with.
The only thing I don't get is... we go in the main entry to the building, right? Then Mel presses a round thing on the wall that lights up. A minute later, a door in the wall opens. We go into this tiny room, Mel presses another round, flat thing, then the tiny room rocks and rattles for a minute or two. Sometimes, the door opens and there are OTHER people there, that walk into the room, then sometimes out of the room. The room rattles some more, but we just STAND there. I don't get it. Then, the door opens and it's our hallway. Is going in the box really necessary?
Anyway, Mel said we're going to the store now for me to pick out a couple of bones. Ciao!
PS: cats are stinky.
