Arrival Story:
We sort of fell upon Ziggy, I like to think of it as fate ...we had been thinking of adding to our family and speaking to breeders. Our only deterrent was that there are no local breeders for AHT's and we hate the whole shipping idea. (His big brother, Zen was driven cross country especially for us). About that same time our Mom met a guy in town who had this little hairless pup as small as the palm of his hand. She couldn't believe her eyes! (This breed is a rare find, esp in SoCal) Turns out he was selling the pup because the breeder sent him a boy pup in error. We immediately went and met the guy and fell in love with the little pup. We brought him home to see how he and our other hairless, Zen would interact. After a weekend of fun (and a little pouting from big bro) we decided to adopt the pup. His personality was definitely feisty! We love his devilish nature, it keeps us on our toes. Zen & Zig love to play, wrestle and snuggle together with Zig always antagonizing his big brother. In retrospect, we now think we should have named them Yin and Yang!
He is a welcome, loved and fun addition to our growing family.
