Arrival Story:
How we found Zen is sort of a love story. We met, fell in love & decided to move in together. Unfortunately, my beau has allergies so I had to make the tough decision to give up my 2 beloved cats. We found them a good home, but alas, I was heartbroken. My wonderful beau felt so badly that he searched & searched to find an "allergy friendly" animal ..(his thoughfullness helped to ensure that he was "the one") after lots of research and some allergy tests we finally adopted Zen, our American Hairless Terrier. We were all so happy! We were married about a year later and guess who was the ring bearer ? ;) Since our marraige , we have enjoyed Zen so much that we decided to adopt another AHT so now Zen has a little brother to play with (Ziggy) and also to drive him a little crazy! There is also a new baby on the way..it seems this love story just keeps growing and growing! Update- Our Son is now 4. After the poor dogs made it through a couple terrorizing toddler years, we are all one big happy family. He loves his dogs and knows how to be gentle with them. He loves to gives them their treats and even helps with our walks.
