Someone brought to my attention.

So...someone mentioned that I didn't say anything about my accident on my page. In august my mom was really stressed out and she took a week off of teaching summer school so she coudl relax and hang out with us before she started the new year. It was monday and we went to the dog park early and when we got back she released us to go upstairs to our apartment. Well...abby started to run around the stairs and down the alley and I followed her in hot pursuit with mom running behind us yelling to come back... As soon as we got to the busy street. I got hit by a big truck. The truck kept going and I was hurting really bad and didn't know what happened to me. I saw mom come up and she looked worried. She was also screaming and muttering to herself that I had just got hit by a car. I think she and I were both in lots of shock. Abby just hung out right by us. This lady had heard the whole thing and came out to ask mom if she needed help. She did. She ran back and threw abby in her crate and grabed her truck. When she got there mom was still crying and i tried to jump in the car...but she grabbed me and picked me up into the back. All the way there mom seemed really stressed and i eventually laid down to get some rest. We got to the vet and the rest was a blur. I got meds and paid releavers and the had to stay the night without mom. Then next day mom took me to a specialist who performed a surgery which I heard put 4 pins in my elbow which had be shattered. Three days after the accident I got to finally go home. I slept for a long time and mom had set up sod on our porch where I did my business. She also put her bed on the floor so I didnt' try to jump up on it. After three months of potting on the sod I finally got the ok to walk downstairs and have been walkign and slowly running for the last couple weeks. It was a huge ordeal but all is well. I'm glad to be healthy again and soon I'll get to run free at the dog park but mom keeps me on a leash when we go for now.

I"M FREEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My vet said that I can go downstairs now...and in a month I get to run... oh yeah...running...gosh I miss running. My elbow still bothers me and I have this limp which makes people when my mom is walking me ask all about it. I'm sure my mom likes the attention but I wish I didn't have the limp. Anyway...I'm free and my mom is taking me places again. It's kind a full load now that we have my sister...but she is cool with dragging two dogs around. I might get to start going to the dogpark. I have to promise to be good though...I'm always good. (wink, wink)

I'll keep you posted on how my recovery goes. I hear there is a beach trip planned soon. Oh yeah...SWIMMING!!!!!!!!!!! HOW FUN!!!!!

My new life

We moved. I didn't handle to move very well. I've been acting up. I'm upset cause we live with this new guy and I miss just living with mommy. I pitch big fits when she goes to work. I'm trying to behave but I'm just want to go back. We went and saw this lady this weekend though and she taught mommy all these new tricks on how to get me to behave. I dont' like them but I know mom is just trying her best. She's stressed at this new job and I know I haven't really helped but she loves me. I think I heard her say we are starting obedience classes next weekend. She's really excited. I can't wait to be around the other dogs. :) We went to a trail this weekend and that was fun and I know if I behave I'll get to go again. I do miss my cousins in st. pete though. :( but I will be ok.. Ok, gotta go get in my crate so mom can go to work. Bark Bark

missing my mommy

My mommy has been gone all week and I miss her. She had to go away for her job. I hear my aunt on the phone with her. I think we are moving somewhere but I'm not sure yet. They keep saying something like Melbourne. Not sure where that is yet but I hear we have a place and I guess I'm joining her this weekend. I've been trying to be on my best behavior but I'm hanging out with Lucky, a schnauzer and she teaches me bad habits. We've chewed up some stuff together but I feel bad. :) I can't wait for my mommy to come back for me. I miss our along time. Well, I'll keep you updated when i get to my new apartment. I'm excited.

First one!!!!

Well, this is my first diary. I get to woof woof woof all about me me and me. :) I'm so excited. My mommy gives me so much attention and love I'm not sure where to start. Well, for one I just wanted to say that I'm glad to be on here. :) Next let's tell you about my day today. It's was my first sleep over. My cousin Lucky, she's a schnauzer, her parents are away for a couple days so mom says she's staying here. I'm not sure how we are going to all sleep in that bed but should be interesting. I've noticed she barks a lot but we had fun playing tug o war and teasing all day. I'm pretty tired so I've got to go to bed but I'll tell you more later. :) thanks for reading my new diary. Woof Woof
