Belly rubs, snuggling, and treats. And some more treats. Then more snuggling. Did I mention treats?

Atticus trying to take his Puppy. People blowing raspberries, bubbles, zerberts, or just air. People carrying large objects (suitcases, boxes, chairs ... Charlie thinks people should not carry things!)
Favorite Toy:
His Puppy, a raggedy stuffed dog he has had for all of his years. His retired favorite toy was a squeaky hamburger, which is now a very sad half-hamburger.
Favorite Food:
Peanut butter ... mmmmmm. Eggs are another fabulous treat.
Favorite Walk:
Anywhere with things he can sniff! But Charlie especially loves running on the beach -- too bad we live so far from the ocean!
Best Tricks:
Singing with the piano (he sings different songs for different pieces -- he has quite a repertoire), sitting nicely as soon as there is *any* possibility of a treat, rolling over, plotting food-sharing deals with the cat

I've been a busy guy these past few months -- lots of training, no time to type. I've learned new tricks and I'm learning that feet aren't quite so bad. I still wish they wouldn't step on me so often, though. I can't help it if I need to be close to my people at all times!
We're going on vacation next week, and Atticus gets to go too. I hope he doesn't whine too much in the car. I never whine in the car, because I know we always end up somewhere good. It takes a long time sometimes, and I really can't sleep in the car, but it's worth it.

I want the cat food. Why won't they let me have the cat food? It smells so good! I can't believe I can't have the cat food! Please, please, please! I want it so much! I would love it, really. Please, please, can't I have the cat food? I want the cat food! Atticus doesn't even care. He would let me have it! I want the cat food!

My kitten is finally feeling much better, which means he's back to pouncing on me all the time. He plays rough sometimes! My people say "normal" dogs don't have to worry about a kitten playing roughly, but I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean. Maybe that kitten should be taken for a walk or something, so he's not so nutty. But I am glad he's feeling better. It's much more fun that way.
