Arrival Story:
this sweet boy was at the shelter and to be euthanized at 6 months old, he had growled at someone. He had a broken leg and had been abused...I took him home and loved him until he left this world at 9 and a half years old.
Bio:
Frankie wasn't especially fond of strangers, of course, he had good reason, his leg had been broken and he had trouble trusting, especially men.He did love all other dogs though, and cats were his friends too. He loved unconditionally and spent most of his life right next to me when he could. I will miss him forever.

Frankie, I will love you forever.
My sweet little Frankie, I loved you so much that I thought I could not go on when you left me. From the first time I saw you at the shelter with your little cast on your broken leg, you hobbled up to my desk everyday to visit and give me kisses.I looked at those golden eyes and loved you so much. Even though I loved you the I knew you had a family waiting for you.As you healed I hoped so much that you could go with me, and my prayer was answered when they brought you back a week after adoption. I took you home and you were so funny, so sweet and so very happy. You were a pure joy to me everyday of my life.I know you were not so fond of some people, especially men, and I know why...it was from being hurt. I hope and pray I made you half as happy in those 9 years as you made me, Boo.The day I had to say goodbye was the worst day of my life, but I knew from your eyes that it was time. I will keep you in my heart until we meet again frankie, and we will, I am sure of that. I love you.

Frankie, I can't believe it has been 1 year since you left, I miss you so much.It is just not the same without you...Christmas came and went and I hung an ornament on the tree in your honor. I think of you every single day and always will. Please remember how much I love you Boo, and we will meet again someday.
