LilyBear is an SPR girl. We are the foster pawrents. We picked her up in North Phoenix from her family surrendering her in tears. We fostered for a week and she fit in so well to our furmily that we adopted her officially on 6/6/13.

We kept her! She's a furever part of the Up Mountain Gang. Now she can settle in and know she is safe.

My Foster Mom and Dad are now OFFICIALLY my pawrents for now and furever.

I'm no officially a member of the Up Mountain Gang.

All this and today I am one of Dogster's Diary choices for the day.

Cuki, Louie and Zuri are happy to have me as a furever fursis.

Blitzingly happy day for me.

Adventures & BIG NEWS

I went over to meet my fur cousins, Lil Dude and Phinneas yesterday. They have this green stuff in their yard that I've never seen before - GRASS. I wanted nothing to do with it and it felt really funny on my paws so I walked weirdly on it. The peeps all laughed at me.
I wasn't afraid of my fur cousins at all and I liked Uncle Al and Auntie Dorothy.
The adventure continued...
I went to ROSS with Dorothy and Mom Pam. They put me in the cart in a little bed and I was a furry good girl. Peeps oohed and awwwed at me and I was not scared or conscerned out things in the cart or the new beds they were buying falling on me from the top of the cart. I got sleepy and snoozed for awhile feeling very secure.
The adventure continued... many things to look at my little furry head spun and my eyeballs were as big as saucers. One lady took our phone number so she can call when I'm ready for adoption...
Mom and Dad are talking about keeping me. There's a new picture of me sleeping on the computer desk while Mom filled out my adoption form for Small Paws Rescue.
I'M STAYING! Daddy convinced Mom because he sez I smile at him when he holds me.
My new name is gonna be LilyBear once the adoption is finalized.
Safe and Secure licks,

I weigh nine pounds.
I turned three-years-old in May.
I have long straight legs and some peeps think I'm a poodle mix because of them, but...
I have AKC papers and come from a breeder in Green Valley, AZ who was breeding for long legs (I don't know why).
I have all my black points: nose, lips, "eye liner" and black pads on my feet.
I can jump up all by myself onto a high bed or onto a sofa to snuggle.
I sleep like a rock and love cozy little beds or a nice pillow.
I am housebroken, use the doggy door and try to be very clean.
I eat about 1/2 cup of food a day plus treats - no wheat or corn in my diet.
I don't seem to be allergic so my eyes aren't very weepy.
I have an undershot jaw, which makes me look sorta tough, and I have all my pearly whites.
I love to go for car rides, especially if I'm in a crate in the back of the SUV so I can see where I'm going.
I'm very sweet but seem a little nervous when I first meet new dogs or peeps so my foster mom is socializing me and desentizing me about that.
I'm a very good girl.
